Description
The Light EnerG Double Ended Ceramic metal halide 630W/942 bulb is a full spectrum bulb that has a 4200K spectrum with a 1050 µmol output and is compatible with all ballasts that are designed to run double ended bulbs and reflectors. It is optimized for the vegetative stage of growth and emits a blue light spectrum, making it ideal during the vegetative stage of growth. It also has an added red spectrum for flowering efficiency and a better PAR efficiency than traditional metal halide (MH) or high pressure sodium (HPS) bulbs. It creates a spectrum close to that of the sun and has a high CRI (colour rendering index) of 90+ out of 100. With a lower heat output watt per watt versus traditional 600W bulbs you can expect to do less cooling of your space.
Optimized for vegetative growth. This 630W CMH bulb produces a 4200K full‑spectrum light with a strong blue output, which helps plants grow compact, sturdy, and healthy during the veg stage.
It also includes a touch of red light for smoother transition into early flowering.
Key points for new growers:
- Great for veg‑stage cannabis, seedlings, clones, greens, herbs, and microgreens
- Blue spectrum = tight internodes and strong stems
- Added red = better early flower response
- More efficient PAR output than old MH or HPS bulbs
- Natural sunlight‑like spectrum
- High CRI (90+) so plants look true to colour
- Lower heat per watt → easier cooling
- Works in any double‑ended 630W CMH fixture

🌞 Why This Bulb Works So Well
- Blue spectrum → strong structure
- Full spectrum → natural growth
- High CRI (90+) → plants look true to colour
- Lower heat → easier environment control
- 1050 µmol → plenty of intensity for veg
- 4200K → perfect “sunlight‑like” veg colour
This bulb builds the plant so it can support heavy flowering later.
Grow anything leafy, young, or structural with the 4200K CMH. It’s your vegetative‑stage workhorse.
If you want, I can also simplify the 3000K flowering bulb or make a side‑by‑side veg vs flower CMH sign for your lighting section.
